The FMYSD/HG Cyper Security Training Program has officially started today in all 36 States and the FCT, according to the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

The following activities have been listed for the FMYSD/HG Cyper Security Training Program, which is primarily online:

Having a Gmail account is a requirement for taking the online training, according to the government and Halogen Group.

The FMYSD/HG Cyper Security Training Program’s shortlisted candidates have been instructed to provide a Gmail Address via a specific process that has been provided to the email addresses they registered during the registration processes.

All applicants who do not already have a Gmail account are required to create one and provide their Gmail address. The Gmail Address must also be provided by applicants who use Gmail accounts.

The FMYSD/HG Cyber Security Training Programme was once again introduced to train over 40,000 Nigerian youths in cyber security skills that would enable risk mitigation from cyberattacks, along with a number of certification programs that could lead to job placements for the participants both locally and internationally.

Gaining expertise in the basics of cyber security, types and forms of cyber attacks (such as malware, Trojans, social engineering attacks, phishing links, etc.), vulnerability controls, and cyber security tools are all advantages of taking part in the free FMYSD/HG Cyber Security Training Program.

The FMYSD/HG Cyber Security Training Programme, according to The Halogen Group, offers trainees internship and job prospects (both local and abroad), in addition to access to cyber security certifications.

The most dedicated participants will also be eligible to win cash awards in the following categories:

1st Prize – N1Million

2nd Prize – N650,000

3rd Prize – N350,000
