Infinix Hot 12 Play Review And Price In Nigeria

The Hot 12 Play and the Hot 12 were both released at the same time, but the Hot 12 has gotten all of the publicity. Is that to say you’ll skip the Hot 12 game? Our Infinix Hot 12 Play review will explain why the Hot 12 Play may be sufficient for you. I’ve been using the Hot 12 play for over two weeks now, and I feel confident in sharing my findings with you. We’ll go over all of the awesome and not-so-cool features of the Hot 12 Play in this comprehensive review.

Infinix Hot 12 Play

For the Hot 12 series, Infinix teamed with Free Fire, a mobile game, and there is a particular Free Fire theme on the phone. It comes with 4GB of RAM, but thanks to memory fusion, you may increase it to 7GB by using extra storage space. The phone includes a 6000mAh battery and a 13MP camera on the back. It is 6.8 inches in length, which is quite large for persons with little hands. Follow along as we dissect everything.

Pros

  • Outstanding 6000mAh Battery
  • Compact Build
  • 90Hz refresh rate

Cons

  • Not Optimized for gaming
  • Poor camera quality
  • Android 11 instead of 12
  • Infinix Hot 12 Play Unboxing
  • The Phone
  • USB C cable
  • 15W fast charger
  • Plastic case
  • Sim Ejector tool
  • Xclub Dollar Bill
  • Applied Screen Protector

  • Aspect of Design – Hot 12 Play

The phone is composed of plastic, and the color I have is champagne gold; other colors available include racing black, origin blue, and lucky green. The frames are similarly composed of plastic, and the back has a textured design, although this does not prevent the phone from being slippery in the hand. The black color variation of the Hot 12 play, I’m sure, will show fingerprints.

The device is enormous in the hand, but the weight distribution is even; I have a large palm, and it fit in my hand just well. It charges through USB Type C, which is always interesting to see Infinix embrace type C on low-cost phones. At the bottom of the device is a headphone connector as well as a down-firing speaker. The unlock key and volume rockers are located on the right side, whereas the SIM card slot is located on the left side.

There are two SIM card slots on the phone, as well as a memory card slot. We have a center hole punch punched out up front. It isn’t the tiniest display I’ve ever seen, but it’s adequate. When you’re watching videos or playing games, the cutout doesn’t get in the way. I tried to find out what kind of display protection was utilized, but the brand didn’t say.

Display

The display is a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. We’ve all grown accustomed to FullHD+, so it was a bit of a letdown. The genuine Infinix Hot 12 has a 1080p resolution, and if you care about it, you should spend the extra money and acquire it. The Hot 12 also has a 90Hz refresh rate. Because it was viewable, I enjoyed using the display even in direct sunshine.

Software

The handset comes pre-installed with Android 11, however the Hot 12 comes with Android 12, which is a significant change. Given the trend with Infinix phones, there is no guarantee that the phone will receive an Android 12 upgrade. The user interface is XOS 10, and it hasn’t changed much in a long time. On the UI, there are certain pre-installed apps that you can remove, but others can only be disabled. If you like, you may also enable the free fire theme in the options.

Performance

Infinix’s Hot series is more of a budget gaming series, but the chipset on the Hot 12 play was a difficult decision. The phone is powered by the Mediatek Helio P35 processor. The Helio P35 is a 2018 chipset, which is another another disappointment; the processor is optimized for battery life, and CPU benchmark scores aren’t particularly impressive. I tried PUBG, Free Fire, and Altos Odyssey, among other titles, and it was clear that the chipset was not designed for gaming.

Price In Nigeria

The phone retailed for 77,100 Naira in Nigerian stores, which is about 185 dollars. Now, the phone is a good phone, but there are several features that make other phones in the same category stand out. You can spend a little extra and purchase the Infinix Note 11i if you desire cameras. The performance is adequate, but it is not appropriate for high-intensity gaming. Hopefully, the Infinix Hot 12 play review was useful. Please leave any questions or comments in the section below.
