Nigeria Immigration Service Graduates 548 Cadets

The Immigration Training School Kano has graduated 548 cadets from the 4th Superintendent Basic Course.

After six years of hard physical drills and academic preparation at the prestigious Immigration Training School, the Cadets, who are made up of 132 ladies and 416 males, have entered the Officers’ Cadre of the Service.

This arose after the NIS’s administration issued a public warning about a bogus 2022 NIS Recruitment advertisement that was circulating online by scammers.

According to a previous NIS release, the acting Comptroller General of Immigration, Isah Jere Idris, has been alerted to several bogus public postings circulating on social media platforms suggesting a general recruiting replacement drive for the Service.

It is critical to explain unequivocally that the publication is nothing more than a huge scheme by certain unscrupulous individuals who aim to defraud and exploit unwary members of the public into parting with their hard-earned money for non-existent job openings. Apart from the fact that the entire publication is a product of terrible design, the application webpage is strangely decency-defying.

It is sufficient to state unequivocally that the Service is currently NOT conducting any type of recruitment exercise, and the public is encouraged to disregard any such publications.

As a result, the acting Comptroller General would like to take this occasion to warn members of the public about the tricks of fraudulent job merchants who prey on them with bogus promises of job placement in the Service. He emphasized that, rather than the pedestrian method adopted by the writers of the deceptive recruitment notifications, the Service has always used all of the traditional and prominent social media means, including its website, to publicize recruitment exercises.

He emphasized that efforts are being made to find individuals responsible for such fake publications and bring them to justice.
