KWASU in Brief

Kwara State University was established after it became the 77th university registered with the Nigerian Union of Universities (NUC). It is also the 95th university to be established in Nigeria. The university was birthed in 2009, under the administration of the then governor, Dr. Bukola Saraki, after the bill for the establishment of Kwara State University was signed into law by the Kwara State House of Assembly on 24th December 2008. In 2009, the university officially became a registered member of the Nigerian Union of Universities (NUC), and in July 2009, the institution had its First Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul Rasheed Na’Allah. The same year, academic activities started fully. The university runs multiple academic centres as it was built to be a centre for community service and entrepreneurship. The centres are:

KWASU School Fees

Kwara State University’s school fees are paid yearly through the school’s official student school fees payment portal. Students are to note that failure to pay all fees within the approved period attracts 20% of the total amount payable to Kwara State University. Because of this, we advise you to ensure that you make payment on time.

How to Pay KWASU School Fees

To pay KWASU School Fees, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the Kwara State University’s official student portal by clicking this link
  2. Log into the portal with your credentials
  3. Click on “Invoice Generation”
  4. Select “Pay Online” and use your generated invoice to pay
  5. Complete the payment
  6. Print your receipt and keep safely.
