Do you ever take a look at your Instagram profile and decide to remove or archive a few photographs that no longer serve a purpose? There is, however, a quick and practical way to accomplish this without having to read through each magazine one by one. Follow along as I show you how to archive or delete all of your Instagram images.
How to Delete or Archive All or a Group of Instagram Photos
Follow these steps in the activity manager of your social media account to complete the process:
- Go to your Instagram profile and open it;
- To access the menu, go to: Click the menu, the three-dot icon, in the upper right corner;
- Select the second option “Your activity” from the list that appears after clicking on “Your Activity.”
- Choose “Photos and Videos” from the drop-down menu: Select the second option with the title “Photos and Videos” from the options that display on the screen;
- Select “Publications” from the drop-down menu: On the following screen, you’ll find three options; select “Publications” from the first one.
- Select “Select” from the drop-down menu: Select the photos you want to delete or archive by clicking the blue “Select” option in the upper right corner.
- Select “Delete” or “Archive” from the drop-down menu: After you’ve chosen your publications, click “Delete” in the lower right corner or “Archive” in the lower left corner.
- Everything will be archived or erased.
Is it possible to unarchive a post?
Yes. You can also get to the “Archived” option by selecting the “Your Activity” page and managing all articles, Stories, and Lives that you have archived. By selecting the menu on your profile, you may still view this tab under “Archived Items.”
I accidentally erased a post; can I get it back?
You certainly can. You may examine and delete the “Recently Deleted” content under “Your activity,” under the archived content option. When you log in, you can see how many posts have been erased and how many days remain before they are permanently gone. You can restore them in your profile if you still have time.
What more can I do in Instagram’s “Your Activity” tab?
In this tab, you can still examine how much time you spend on Instagram each day, evaluate and erase interactions like likes and comments, analyze and clear your recent search history, see the links you searched for, and download a copy of the information you published on Instagram.
Is it possible to accomplish this from a computer?
No. Only the Instagram app has this feature.
