How to fix wrong thumbprint issue
Assuming someone by a mistake thumb-printed for you.
To solve this problem, you would have to ask NYSC to drop the wrong thumbprint on your profile. Send a written application with your details to info@nysc.gov.ng before the commencement of Orientation Camp.
How to fix Security Issue on Fingerprint Capture
Let’s assumed you have installed Java runtime or SDK on your computer. The version of Java you installed or the Java security settings can cause a problem.
It is recommended that you install Java 7 update 60, or an up to date Java 8.
After installing the right Java, follow the steps below to set the Java secutity.
1. Click ‘Start Menu’ on your computer
2. Open Control Panel
3. Locate Java Icon from the Control panel or Search ‘java’ inside the control panel if you cannot see the Icon.
4. Click the icon to open java control panel
5. Click the security tab at the top of the Java panel as shown below.
6. On the security tab, click ‘Edit Site List’ to open the new dialog as shown above. If you cannot
see the ‘Edit Site List’, go to item 9
7. On the ‘Exception Site List’, click the Add button
8. Enter ‘http://portal.nysc.org.ng/’, ‘http://www.nysc.org.ng/’ or ‘http://portal.nysc.gov.ng/’
depending on the URL you are using in the box displayed as shown below.
9. Click Ok button after entering the site name as shown above.
10. Slide down the security slider to medium as shown below (System with older java only)
11. Click Ok button to close the Java control panel
12. Refresh the web page from which you are trying to capture fingerprints

How to fix ‘com.digitalpersona.onetouch.jni.JniException’ error for UareU Digital Persona Scanners
If you encounter the following error “com.digitalpersona.onetouch.jni.JniException”, there is a way to fix it.
The error above is telling you that there is compatibility issue between drivers of your UareU Digital Personal device and the Runtime Environment of the website you are running the application.
Below is how fix the error;
1. Uninstall all Digital Persona Drivers or any driver related to it on your compubelow
2. Download the ‘Universal Digital Persona Driver for your PC below;
Download RTE for 32 Bit or Download RTE for 64 Bit
3. After download is complete, install it
4. Reboot your computer.

Please my thumbprint didn’t show during batch B stream 1 registration, I was asked to write a letter of which I have done so I want to know if it’s possible that I will be joining this stream 2 or I have to wait for the next batch??

Same issue with me, I was ask to leav the camp and write to the nysc. Asking nysc to drop biometric on my profile due to using wrong scanner during Registration…but I av contacted somebody at abuja and he has resolved it for me..hopefully will be goin with next stream insha Allahu.
