Jemila Abubakar Memorial Essay Competition 2022

The Jemila Abubakar Memorial Essay (JAME) Competition 2022 is now accepting applications. Undergraduate students in Nigerian tertiary institutions are encouraged to submit essays on the topic: Criminalization of Suicidal Attempts: To Stay or to Go.

Ms Jemila Abubakar, the Asido Foundation’s first Project Manager, was a selfless angel who was enthusiastic about mental health awareness. Sadly, she died in July 2020 after a brief illness.
