How to Apply NNPC / Addax Undergraduate Scholarship

In accordance with its Corporate Social Responsibility, Addax Petroleum Development (Nigerian) Limited (APDNL), the operator of the NNPC/ADDAX Production Sharing Contract (PSC), invites suitably qualified applicants from its host communities to apply for the 2020/2021 Host Community Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. In this post, we will show you how to apply for NNPC / Addax Undergraduate Scholarship.

NNPC / Addax Undergraduate Scholarship Requirements

  • Only candidates from APDNL Host Communities are eligible.
  • Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
  • Undergraduates enrolled full-time in Nigerian tertiary institutions
  • At the time of admission, students must be certified at the 100 level (only students admitted in the 2020/2021 academic session).
  • The grant will only be for two years for OND students.

NOTE: Students in the following groups should not apply:

  • HND students at the 200 level and above
  • If they have already earned equivalent prizes from other organisations, only Indigenes of APDNL Host Communities in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.

NOTE: The aptitude exam will be conducted online utilising a remote proctoring CBT tool, and only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the test date.

Note:

  • The NNPC/Addax Host Community Scholarship application is completely free.
  • The official platform for the NNPC/Addax Petroleum 2021 Host Community Scholarship is SCHOLASTICA.
  • When applying for the NNPC/Addax Host Community Scholarship online, be wary of bogus websites. During the application process, such websites may require you to pay a fee.
  • Applications submitted via e-mail will not be considered.
  • At any stage of the scholarship process, any candidate found to have produced fake documents will be disqualified or withdrawn.
  • Only those who have been shortlisted will be invited to take the remote online proctored CBT exam.

Required Documents for the Application

  • Make sure you have clear scanned copies of the following papers before you begin this application.
  • Recent, white background passport photograph (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
  • School ID Card
  • O’level Certificate
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
  • JAMB Result

Ensure that the papers are labelled according to what they represent to minimise document mixing during upload. Ensure that you attach the proper documents when prompted to upload. Ensure that you offer a legitimate email and phone number for effective contact.

Application Process For Addax Petroleum Scholarship

Follow the procedures below to apply:

  1. Go to the “Apply Now” tab.

  2. To create an account, click “Register Now.”

  3. Verify your account by going to your email box.

  4. To return to the Scholarship site, go to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/addaxscholarship.

  5. To upload your information, enter your registered email address and password.

  6. Fill up your personal information, NIN (if applicable), educational information, and other information, as well as submit any relevant scanned papers.

  7. Double-check that the name used in the application is the same as the name on the documents in the same order. If required, include a sworn affidavit or relevant documents.

  8. To avoid uploading issues, make sure you view all papers once they’ve been uploaded.

  9. If you’re asked to upload a photo, choose a passport photo with a white backdrop.

  10. To avoid problems, double-check the application information.

  11. To submit information, click “Apply Now.”

  12. An email and a text message confirming the success of your application will be sent to you.

  13. Go to www.scholastica.ng, input your email address and password to download your profile, and have your department head sign the document.

  14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification purposes.

  15. If you didn’t get your National Identification Number (NIN) in step 6, you can get one now (NIN)

  16. Update your application with your National Identification Number (NIN) at the NNPC / Addax Undergraduate Scholarship official website  to assure completion.

Note that submitting multiple applications will result in the Scholarship Board disqualifying you. The NIN is not required to complete your application.
