The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has said its Call Up letters for Prospective Corps Members that will take part in the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course will be made available on Sunday, June 12.

The new NYSC Director-General, Brig. Gen. Muhammad Fadah disclosed this during a webinar jointly organized by the National Youth Service Corps and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as part of efforts to sustain the safe conduct of Orientation Exercises.

NYSC boss said though there is a decline in COVID19 cases, there is “need not to let down our guards until the disease is totally eradicated”.

According to Fadah, the Scheme has made adequate preparations to ensure the safety of Corps members and Officials across the 37 Camps in the country.

He said since the post lockdown opening of Orientation camps, the Scheme has adopted strict compliance with all safety measures before, during and after the exercises.

He urged Prospective Corps Members to ensure strict compliance to all existing safety protocols in camp.

“You are strongly advised to board vehicles at only officially designated motor parks. You must also avoid night journeys at all cost”, Fadah said.
