NYSC Camp Requirements are things you must bring to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation camp for registration. There are compulsory items, like your final year ID card and call-up letter, without which you can’t register. Additionally, there are essential items, such as extra clothes and personal items, that aren’t compulsory but will make your stay more comfortable. It’s important to have all these things to avoid any issues during the registration process and to ensure a smoother experience at the camp.
In this article, we will clearly explain what you need to bring to the NYSC camp for registration. Just keep reading as we provide details if you are a Nigerian graduate preparing to serve in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Program.
The worst thing that can happen is to arrive at the NYSC Orientation camp and realize that your documents are not complete. Therefore, we urge every prospective corps member to carefully read this post to understand what is required from them; because the NYSC management would send you home if your documents are not complete. This has been the rule, and it’s strictly followed. To make this concise and handy, we will classify things needed at the NYSC Orientation camp into two categories:
1. Compulsory camp requirements and Essentially requirements.
Note: Items listed under the compulsory category are documents that, without any of them, you may not be registered at the NYSC camp. The items listed under the essential category are not compulsory but needed for your personal comforts.
NYSC Registration Requirements (*Compulsory)
Here are the NYSC registration requirements:
1. Final Year ID Card:
Bring the original and two (2) photocopies of your final year ID card. To get your ‘final year identity card, visit the Directorate of Students’ Affairs in your school and make a request. NYSC also accepts the school ID card in lieu of the final year ID, but they don’t accept the departmental ID card.
2. Statement of Result (B.SC or HND)
Bring the original and four (4) photocopies of your degree or HND statement of result. If you have the original certificate itself, better. But if you don’t, just go with the official statement of the results. For foreign-trained graduates, they must present the original certificate itself (not the statement).
3. NYSC Call-up Letter
Bring the original and four (4) photocopies. NYSC will send this letter to you a few days after online registration. Please, DO NOT laminate your call-up letter because NYSC will reject a laminated copy.

I have only my OND statement of result and HND statement. Hope I’ll be registered in camp because I’m scared people saying ND certificate is compulsory.
