Mr. Oluseyi Oyefeso has been appointed Executive Director, Retail Banking for South by First Bank of Nigeria Limited.
The appointment became effective on March 2, according to a statement the bank released on Monday in Lagos.
Oyefeso previously held the position of Country Managing Director for FBNBank Ghana Limited.
In one of the bank’s top three branches, he started working for First Bank in 2006 as a Manager.
Also, he had held a number of positions, such as Business Development Manager and Group Heads for the Retail Banking and Institutional Banking Directorates.
Dr. Adesola Adedutan, the chief executive officer of First Bank Group, characterized the new Executive Director as a goal-oriented person with more than 25 years of relevant management experience in the banking and financial services sector.
He said:
“Seyi is a multi-skilled professional with very robust banking experience, proven problem-solving and leadership skills.
“He is a competent leader and a team player who over the years had demonstrated the ability to develop positive business relationships evidenced by a remarkable track record of business growth.
