Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, is the leader of the group demanding secession of the Yoruba ethnic Nationality of South West Nigeria, which comprises the seven Yoruba speaking states, to be called ‘Oodua Republic’. Sunday Igboho was born on October 10, 1972 at Igboho town, in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State. He is a business mogul, human rights defender and humanitarian.
Because of the important role he played during the Modakeke-Ife communal war in 1997, he became more popular and was given the nickname “Igboho” to reflect the community he hails from. He is believed by many to have possessed metaphysical abilities which make him a formidable opponent in battle.

Sunday Igboho hails from Igboho community in Oyo State, where he was born. His family moved to Modakeke in Osun State when he was young. While growing up, he worked as a motorcycle repairer before delving into car repairs and fully ventured into cars sales via Adeson business concept.
Igboho became known to the international community for the role he played in the Modakeke/Ife war between 1997 and 1998, as stood on the side of Modakeke people.
