{VIDEO} Angry Ronaldo Slams Ten Hag, Calls Him A “Betrayal”

In a recent explosive interview, football star Cristiano Ronaldo attacked his club Manchester United and manager Erik Ten Haag.

The 37-year-old said in the explosive interview with Piers Morgan, from which excerpts were made public on November 13, that he feels “betrayed” by Manchester United for trying to oust him from the club.

“Yes. Not only the coach, but the other two or three guys around the club. I felt betrayed,” he told the media personality.”

Ronaldo received a match suspension from United last month for leaving the stadium before the game against Tottenham and declining to make a late substitution.

The five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or added that Erik ten Hag has “no respect” for him and that he “doesn’t show respect for me.”

Speaking of ten Hag, Ronaldo said:

“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.

“If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
The former Real Madrid forward also provided a damning assessment of the team following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure, alleging that nothing has changed.

“The progress was zero. Since Sir Alex left, I saw no evolution in the club. Nothing had changed,” he said.

“Nothing changes. Not only the jacuzzi, the pool, even the gym. Even some points of technology, the kitchen, the chefs – who I appreciate, lovely people! They stop in time, which surprised me a lot.
“I thought I would see different things, technology, infrastructure.

Unfortunately, we see many things I’m used to seeing when I’m 21, 22, 23. It surprised me a lot.”

Ronaldo also criticized Ralf Rangnick, the previous interim manager of United who took over last season, saying he should never have accepted the position.

“For example, an interesting point is how a club like Manchester United sacked Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer). They bring in a sporting director Ralf Rangnick, which is something nobody understands,” he said.
“This guy is not even a coach! A big club like Manchester United bringing in a sporting director surprised not only me but all the world.”

After moving from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United in 2003, Ronaldo gained notoriety. In 2009, he departed for Real Madrid before making an incredible comeback in August 2021.

His current deal expires in July 2023, but with the January transfer market rapidly approaching and this interview being published as athletes leave for the upcoming world cup, his days at the club may be short.
