EDSU Full Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 Session

The management of Edo State University (EDSU )has issued the first and second semester schedule for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Following the release of the full school calendar, all new and returning students are enjoined to view the school’s academic schedule in its entirety to avoid missing on key information for the session.

The events on the calendar are listed below:

1ST SEMESTER 2022/2023 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

  • 14/01/2023 – All students return to campus after Christmas break. EDSU Academic Calendar
  • 16/01/2023 –  1st Semester Lectures continue after Christmas break.
  • 14/02/2023 – Orientation for Newly admitted students.
  • 17/02/2023 – Matriculation for New Student.
  • 23/02/2023 – 11/03/2023 – Mid Semester Break.
  • 12/03/2023 – End of 1st Semester lectures for 2022/2023 Academic Session.

(12 weeks)

  • 13/03/2023 – 17/03/2023 – Revision (1 week).
  • 20/03/2023 – 1st Semester Examinations begin in all Faculties.
  • 23/03/2023 – Founders day.
  • 31/03/2023 – 1st Semester Examinations end.
  • 02/04/2023 – Students go home for 1st Semester break (2 weeks).

2ND SEMESTER 2022/2023 ACADEMIC CALENDAR (15 WEEKS)

  • 16/04/2023 – Students come into Residence for 2nd Semester
  • 2022/2023 Academic Session
  • 17/04/2023 – 2nd Semester lectures begin for 2022/2023 Academic Session.
  • 9/07/2023 – 2nd Semester Lectures end (12 weeks) NYSC portal
  • 10/07/2023 – 15/07/2023 – Revision (1 week).
  • 17/07/2023 – 2nd Semester Examinations begin for all Faculties.
  • 29/07/2023 – End of 2nd Semester Examinations 2022/2023 Academic Session.
  • 30/07/2023 – Students go home for end of session 2022/2023

(Long vacation Break).

  • 14/08/2023 – 28/08/2023 – Departments/Faculty Boards of Studies meet to
  • Consider 2022/2023 Academic Session Results.
  • 30/08/2023 – 07/09/2023 – Senate meets to consider 2022/2023 Academic Session
  • 02/10/2023 – New students come into Residence for 2023/2024 Academic Session.
