Following the approval of new programmes by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina State, has opened its admission portal for the commencement of the newly approved programmes in the polytechnic. Signed by the institution’s registrar, Ishaq Alti, the press release notified the public and students of the NTBE’s approval of the programmes which will begin in the 2020/2021 admission exercise. This, the document says, will enable interested students to apply to study any of the newly approved programmes which include Computer Science and Hospitality Management, both of which are now available for study at the Higher National Diploma (HND) level. The polytechnic has also announced the commencement of sales of admission forms for the 2020/2021 academic session. The school invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for admission into the polytechnic for the 2020/2021 academic session. The sales of the application form for the new programmes begins on Monday, 2nd August 2021 and closes on Monday, 9th August 2021.

The schools encouraged interested students to obtain admission and, or screening form through the school’s official portal at www.portal.hukpoly.edu.ng or through at any cyber café nearest to them.

Importantly, students have been advised to note that the ongoing application process for other programmes closes also on Monday, 9th August 2021.

Admission Requirements

All candidates applying for the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in English Language and Mathematics besides National Diploma (ND) in the relevant course of choice.
