Mo Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships
The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships are a highly selective program designed to provide training to prepare future African leaders. We hope to strengthen and widen our growing network, which continues to offer its talents and knowledge to a better Africa, through our annual fellowship program.
The Fellowship will give $100,000, besides the chance to work in the executive offices of the African Development Bank (Abidjan), ECA (Addis Ababa), or ITC (Geneva). Read how to change your name on Nigerian passport.
Fellowships are available for working professionals, mid-career experts, and new administrators from Africa who have appropriate work experience and a master’s degree.
At a variety of prestigious academic institutions, the Ibrahim Scholarships support aspiring African leaders. The scholarships help outstanding young Africans develop their talent in specific fields.
- Applicant must be a citizen of one of Africa’s countries and hold a master’s degree.
- Applicant must possess 7-10 years of related work experience
- Applicant must be under the age of 40 for men, and under the age of 45 for women
- Any other eligibility criteria as decided by the foundation
