The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the online registration for Batch A will kick off on January 29, 2024, and run until February 4, 2024.
During the NYSC online registration, prospective members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Batch A are expected to submit their personal information, academic details, and other required documents using the official NYSC website.
This digital registration includes steps such as providing accurate personal data, uploading required documents, and completing necessary forms, enabling the efficient and organized mobilization of individuals into the NYSC program.
Tips for NYSC 2024 Online Registration for Batch A
To ensure a smooth registration process, here are some essential tips provided by the management of NYSC:
1. Registration portal
Visit the official NYSC Registration Portal at https://www.nysc.org.ng and click on the active link to begin your registration.
2. Fresh registration or revalidation
If you’re a first-time registrant, click on “Fresh Registration.” If you were deployed in previous batches but did not report to camp, select “Revalidation link” to revalidate your registration.
3. Continuation of previous registration
If you’ve registered before but did not complete the process, click “Login Here” to continue your registration using your Username and Password.
4. Thumbprint details
Ensure you personally perform the thumbprint using the Digital Persona U.are.U 4500 fingerprint reader. Avoid proxy thumbprints.
5. Passport Photograph
Upload a clear passport photograph, appropriately dressed. Note that the uploaded photo will appear on your Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate.
6. Apply for Corrections
Review and apply for corrections related to name, spelling errors, and rearrangement.
7. Critical Details
Verify and ensure the accuracy of your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study, as these details will appear on your certificates.
8. Correction Requests
Apply for corrections of Date of Birth, Name, Course of Study, Class of Degree, and Qualification through your dashboard.
9. Foreign Trained Graduates
The portal is open for foreign trained graduates and part-time graduates.
10. Armed Forces Service
PCMs serving in the Armed Forces should indicate their status during online registration.
11. Preview
Preview all records entered before submission to avoid errors.
12. NIN Requirement
NIN (National Identification Number) is a mandatory criterion for PCMs 2024 Mobilization Registration. Read do I need NIN to register for NYSC.

Documents you need in NYSC Orientation Camp for registration
Below are documents that will be required from you in the NYSC orientation camp:

1. Ensure you have valid email address (Gmail is preferable)
2. You should also have active Nigerian phone number

Please are the dates confirmed or subject to change because I heard from another insider that orientation camp will begin toward the end of March.
